Route 66 - Oklahoma
On Day 3, traveling from Big Red Barn RV Park, Carthage, MO to Wanderlust Crossing RV Park in Weatherford, OK.

Trip Highlights: POPS, Heart of Route 66 Auto Museum
Overnight Stop: Weatherford, OK
A heat wave rolled in this region as soon as we arrived. 102 degree weather and a bit of humidity would make it a miserable experience if one spent outdoors in prolonged periods. Thankfully we were mostly traveling through this state in air-conditioned vehicles.
Our first stop in Oklahoma was just outside of Tulsa in Sapulpa where we checked out the “Heart of Route 66 Auto Museum”.
