While Oklahoma bombarded you with endless billboards and road signs beckoning passengers of all types to visit many of their local souvenir and original Route 66 shops, Texas seemed the opposite. Maybe a welcome respite for some or maybe Texas just like doing its own thing, like Big Texas style. And they certainly were not short on “flamboyant” tourist attractions either!
